The Accès-Loisirs Vaudreuil-Soulanges program is back with new registration dates for the winter 2023 session to offer children, adults and seniors from low-income families free places for sports, cultural and outdoor activities.

Inspired by a model already implemented in several regions of Quebec, the Accès-Loisirs Vaudreuil-Soulanges program, in collaboration with the Maison de la Famille Vaudreuil-Soulanges, collects places in activities offered by sports, cultural and recreational organizations that spontaneously agree to give places in their activities or to offer places that were not filled during their registration period.

These places then become available to all persons eligible for the Accès-Loisirs Vaudreuil-Soulanges program.

The latest figures from the Direction de santé publique indicate that more than 6,000 residents in Vaudreuil-Soulanges are currently living below the low-income cut-off. Whether it is for families or individuals, the practice of sports, cultural or outdoor activities allows for socializing, breaking isolation and developing skills that enhance the quality of life of citizens and the dynamism of our communities.

Conditions of admission

To be eligible, family income before taxes must be less than or equal to the threshold indicated below, depending on the number of people in the family
- 1 person: $27,514
- 2 persons: $34,254
- 3 persons: $42,111
- 4 persons: $51,128
- 5 persons: $57,989
- 6 people: $65,401
- 7 persons or more: $72,814

Proof of income (federal or provincial notice of assessment for 2021 or claims booklet for income security recipients) and proof of residence with address (driver's license, tax bill, recent bill) must be presented at the time of registration.
