Crane truck tips over in Vaudreuil-Dorion: CNESST investigates

The operator of a crane truck had quite a scare shortly before noon on Friday when his vehicle, equipped with a telescopic arm, tipped backwards. The cabin of the truck was found several feet above the ground.

The event happened on Saint-Charles Avenue, in Vaudreuil-Dorion, near Turcot Street. Fortunately, the operator was not injured. However, a residence was damaged.

At the time of writing, the cause of the incident was still unknown. The Sûreté du Québec responded to the scene. A security perimeter was set up around the scene and the investigation was turned over to the CNESST.
