Have you seen the blood moon?
A total lunar eclipse was visible in the predawn hours of this Tuesday, offering early risers, or night owls, a sight that will not be repeated anytime soon.
It is that for nearly an hour, the moon took on a reddish color as it passed in the shadow of the earth. This phenomenon also called "blood moon" occurs in 37.3% of cases of lunar eclipses according to the Canadian Space Agency.
If, on average, there are two lunar eclipses per year, we will have to wait until 2025 to see a total eclipse like the one this morning.
