Following the receipt of non-compliant samples on its drinking water network, the Town of Pincourt is obliged to issue a precautionary boil water advisory for its entire territory, as well as for Terrasse-Vaudreuil, and this, for an indefinite period.

Citizens are therefore invited to boil their tap water for at least one minute before consuming it. The supply of bottled water is also an option.

It is strongly recommended that water be boiled before:

• preparing baby bottles;
• Washing and preparing food;
• Making ice;
• Brushing teeth.

However, unboiled water is safe to use for washing dishes, laundry, and showering or bathing. 

At the time of writing, the City could not confirm when the situation would be restored.
